Thoughts on Cam Newton?

It's a QB driven league so he's going to be somewhat expensive to keep because of that fact. He hasn't exactly put up Manning numbers but Still makes plays. Still makes mistakes. Is inconsistent. Hasn't had a phenomenal supporting cast on offense.

I believe he is entering the final year of his contract. If you were the Panthers GM, would you resign him to a long term deal or cut him loose.

Sign him and draft another WR...to bad SSSr had too strong of a personality to mesh with the Panthers they would've been better this year

You have to sign him and get him some help. Benjamin is a good start now finish it.

You have to re-sign him and hope he can reach a legit all-pro level if you surround him with more talent. Its just so important to have a franchise QB in this league, even if he's not an elite QB, that you can't let him go unless you are sure he is not the guy behind the guy behind the guy.

They should take a shot at trading him for Geno and Harvin. Jets might not listen, but hey, you don't know if you don't try...
