A couple of takeaways from Jets presser today

Here are a couple of respectful digs at the old regime. MM and TB are new at this, but they are honest to say the least.

MM on what he knew of the Jets before taking the job. "I heard a-lot about this organization through the media"

Translation... They were a circus.

TB on his coaching philosophy and culture.

'I will have a stamp on all three phases of this team"
"I am reaching out to the players, the old culture was ok, but it didn't win. Going to change that"

Transalation... Rex, you should've paid more attention to O and Specials..that killed you..

Woody also took jabs too at Rex saying that Bowles will be a complete coach and not just on defense.

My favorite part was when they were asked about Smith. "He was a great QB...........in college" I hope that means what I think it means.

I also liked what Woody said when asked about Caserly and Wolf. " Their job is done.....for now". I would love to see Wolf come in as the football czar. Really don't like the idea of both Maccagnan, and Bowles reporting directly to Woody.

It really scares me that woody can't establish an identity for this team. We have an owner that had to hire people to tell him how to be successful. No philosophy nothing.

He inherited his fortune..........he is not self made like gates or cuban.

Well he's not a football guy. He's and investment adviser. Think it was an excellent idea brining in to of the most respected football guys out there to guide him
