For example, he was the first to reveal that Mac was out after free agent and the draft. Beat writers, ESPN, NFLN, he beat them all to the punch.

Nah, I'm pretty happy with Gase and the attitude he brings. I think he will change the culture which might fail, but I think he will turn this around soon. We might still be 8-8, but I think we will take steps finally to turn this around.

NFL guys on Sirius have been saying since Macc was fired that if your HC fires the GM and hires the new one, he's the boss. Most were dubious that they'd land anyone that was in line for a GM job in that situation.

Could be Dominik has it wrong, but he said it. I thought maybe I heard wrong but he went on for a few sentences elaborating about how Douglas has a good position as Howie Roseman's right-hand man, and Paton similarly with Spielman, and leaving that without control of the 53 man roster might not be attractive.

Nobody else has posted anything about Douglas being out. I would think that someone else would have it by now.
