Breaking news regarding Pats investigation

The part time ball boy will eventually take the fall. His bank account will suddenly increase by $50,000 or so.

Goodell will come out and say there was no involvement by the pats CS/FO, all is good. Maybe a slap on the wrist.

Interestingly in the real world, if one of my employees screws up, I'm the one who gets sued. Not with the NFL and the Pats

My all-time favorite police drama. That show was so unconventional, the anti whodunit, but Columbo made it riveting to watch how he slowly and methodically established guilt. I don't usually like police dramas, but I loved that one, and Peter Falk was hilarious. In fact my favorite comedy movie of all-time is The In-Laws with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin. If you've never seen it, SEE IT, you'll be dying laughing.

Serpentine!

Sadly, nothing will come of this and Goodell will continue to allow Kraft, Belichick and Brady to brazenly cheat until all four of those Douchebags are no longer part of the NFL

The Patriot Way

This is probably the truth. And Pats fans and their homer media alike are talking about how the league is always out to get them.

It is possible, slightly possible, that their righteous indignation to this allegation may have been the last straw for Goodell. The league has protected these guys for more than a decade. To have their owner demand an apology, with all the stuff that they have done (that we know about and don't know about) over the years, the league offices may have just had enough. Spygate, deflated footballs, visiting teams' communications going out in mid-drive, questionable and illegal formations and substitutions, Belichick trying to trip Marvin Harrison, their repeated disdain for the injury report...

It's possible, just slightly possible, that the league has finally had enough.

The buck stops...well, pretty far down the line.

I think the longer this thing is allowed to stew, the better the chances are that the Pats will get some kind of punishment. After all, if the bottom line is that the Pats are exonerated, why wouldn't the league want that to be announced as fast as possible? On the other hand, if there is proof of cheating, delaying tactics are understandable. Especially since the Pats won the SB. What chance do you think the NFL would take the same kind of action as the Little League did to their national champion?

Lets see Kraft had the Comish over his house, got him 40mm sal and Woody points out that there is "favoritism" and we think they will do an investigation?

So the league is supposed to tell the Pats, who have made a habit of trying to get around the rules, that there are concerns about them yet again trying to violate the rules? Just a joke.

i was referring to the people we know the owners won't as .long as kraft has him in his back pocket.

Even a US president cannot be impeached by the people. And I agree the owners won't do it. But the people can affect the results. If profits/revenues go down, the commish would be the scapegoat. If the people aren't willing to take steps that would reduce the profits/revenues, there really isn't any more they can do.

Just wanted to thank you for this suggestion. The wife and I watched it last night, and yes indeed it was a gas!
