I can't believe I am saying this - but maybe we go get Kapernick....If he is solid we may win games - if he stinks well at least there wont be anymore articles about him and the NFL. I dont think the Jets should waste draft capital to get a temp starter and Flak is not the answer....thoughts?

Falk did alright, considering the oline cant block and the WRs can catch.
The OC won’t call a pass pattern beyond 3 yards, so I think Falk is the least of this offenses problems.

agreed on the offense.. even when siemian was still in, gase did not have a vertical game plan for last night..

that wasn't a bad game , that was a no win situation for beachum without help.. garrett physically dominated
him all night..

Every good player dominates him. He has always been weak at that position and penalty prone. Needing help should be the rare ocassion not the most of the time situation because that forces the player helping him to play two positions at once which weakens the line. I admit Garret is tough to handle alone but Beachum didn't even slow him down and allowed him to come free a couple of times. We need an upgrade here and I've been saying that for a long time.

Falk will be the starter until Sam or Trevor can get back because he knows the system and showed some ability and moxey last night. They'll find a back-up somewhere that is willing to take the job knowing it's very short term.

i was almost embarrassed for beachum last night.. i would have been if he wasn't putting his QBs health at risk..

the good news is there is essentially zero chance douglas doesn't have a new LT/OL for darnold before the start of next season..
