unfortunately he has taken a beating like carr did with the texans but at only being a 3 and half year starter I don't think he is shell shocked as much as carr was.
Agreed. Plus he's only 27 and experienced a lot more success in his career than Carr ever has.
Hello all, i was introduced to this site by a current member and just by reading many of your posts, i'am thrilled to find yet another board that has logical discussions as what i am used to on another board.
As far as Nick Foles, i feel like the Jets will perhaps be placed into a lucrative decison come end of April. If Marcus Mariota falls to us, do we:
A) Select and keep him to grrom
OR
B)have a Manning'esque trade with Philadelphia in which we would receive 2 1st rounders & Nick Foles.
In my humble opinion, i'd choose "B". Foles is proven and i'am just tired of constantly grroming QB's.

Me too, Dan. I may like Bradford more, but Foles has a tier 2 QB upside that can be Big Ben, Eli, Romo, and Flacco good...and you can definitely get where you want to go with that.
He has all types of weapons he's worked with with the Eagles, great receiving g back, deep threats, underneath move the stick guys, he'said not a one dimensional thrower, but he prefers pushing the ball down field and I think his ball sails sometimes (like most big arm QBs).
I wouldn't mind having his big strong arm for our cold weather division games, so I think it's a win if we land him, I just don't think has has the tier 1 head for the game Brady, Manning, Brees, Wilson, aND Rodgers have (I do think Chad had an elite head for the game, knew his limitations, and played within himself like an elite level QB)....I think Bradford can be that level of QB (potentially), but if Files turns into Big Ben or Flacco, no complaints from me.
I think a big win heading into the season would be landing Foles or Bradford.

I agree I pull the trigger for Foles and the picks in that scenario.
1st thing i do this season is shore up the O-Line. Then explore the QB situation to be honest.
My youngest son went to UOA where Foles played and I saw him play a few times. He is heads and above Geno and I would make the deal in a heart beat.

listen I like Tebow ask sg3 but in now way do i take tebow over foles not in a million years.

I don't think the grounds crew at MetLife would appreciate Tebow coming back with all the divets in the turf he'd make.
I'd love him as a QB...on a 110-yard field with 25-yard end zones. But not down here south of the border.
I watched foles in college and he can read defenses and can move around although he likes to sit in the pocket. I'd be happy with either him or bradford... as long as GENO is not the starter.
You're so right! Could you imagine JaMarcus Russell and Tebow in a wishbone formation!!! And almost no cap hit.
I know you're joking but I'd like to say that JaMarcus had a great arm. I remember watching a video where he threw 50 yards from his knees.
