Really all Washington will show is we can compete with the very worst teams. I want to see us compete at least against the Average teams we have left. We already know that we can't compete with good teams.

Well Dallas was a way more talented average to good team and we beat them. We should have beat the Bills who are also average to good.

Yeah but they had just lost both starting tackles, and their #1 and #2 WR. And we barely held on to beat them on the final play.
We lost to the Bills even with a lead. Good teams beat good teams, we don't. And haven't yet.

We are nowhere near an average team. Our secondary on Sunday was making Jones look like the second coming of Marino until injuries on the Giants O-line allowed the likes of Shepherd to rampage in their backfield. Say-who was obviously hobbled and shouldn't have been playing. Meanwhile we got to measure OUR O-line against Leonard Williams, who was suddenly chasing the QB around the field. I am concerned that if we get to four or five wins we could be watching the best two or even three LTs go off the board before we pick, as a lot of the other bad teams need O-line help.

Dallas was down to one receiver and a bunch more injuries. Our team fell asleep on both sides of the ball in the second half. Our D got steamrolled, with a great play by Adams to save the day on their two-point conversion at the end. They make it? No doubt we lose.

Wouldn't have mattered though if their kicker hadn't missed an easy one after making one from 62 earlier. If he makes that FG? Again, two point conversion is moot and we lose. At best, we played a great half of football.

All I am saying is after the giants this is what he needs to get the ghost off his back. Then the medium teams come.... well some medium teams...so if he ends well he starts next year with a new OL & a new look at life as a QB on the Jets.

If he crashes watch out

Every single game in the NFL is a game of "IF's". If our K didn't miss a FG and XP vs the Bills we would have won.

And the Jets were missing way more players for that game plus a QB back his first week from mono.
