Hey FB51 -- MV has been busy but he alerted me to your request about pasting pictures rather than inserting them using the icons above the text box. Didn't think about it at all but once i read your request, i thought it would make everything must easier.
After doing some research this is actually done by the users themselves and not something the admin can do on the back-end. I am sure there is a way to set that as default but having a hard time finding out how.
To fix, you must go to your user control panel by clicking on "settings" on the top right next to the "log off" button. Next, scroll down and on the left panel under "my settings" you will see "general settings", click on that. Next under "miscellaneous options", change the "Message Editor Interface" from "standard" to "enhanced"
You should be able to copy and paste images now. I pasted the image below by copying it and pasting from Twitter.

I know we are trying to build things up here I just hope this doesn't bring over posters we both wanted to leave behind. Word of mouth was slow but we were getting the cream of the crop.
me too. I noticed that it messes up copying and pasting articles but it's still better than what it was in the pass. We are looking into integrating that Twitter feed you guys had up on the side.
any other features you guys want just let us know.

Elias, would there also be a way to make the pictures smaller so they don't take up as much space in the threads?
It's really amazing, but in the 2 months or so since I've been here I have not seen any obnoxious or boorish posting. Don't know how Elias has managed to do that, but I hope the magic lasts.
The twitter feed would be great I didn't like it when we 1st move there but I grew to rely on it for quick news updates.
There's a way to resize images that are inserted into the post by using the insert image button and it currently does just that. I need to figure out now how to resize images that are pasted in. I'll look into it and have an answer for you by tomorrow.

Few if any pat trolls. They probably are happier at places like JN where they are apparently loved and revered
Many of the JI folks who were there only for smack and non football stuff are probably more comfy at Ragu's slimepit.

When I saw this, I thought you were about to tell us that Scout was merging with us :roflmao: It is really quite remarkable how the merger between JI and Scout has destroyed BOTH boards. What a miscalculation by Sooth!
I think the administration of this board has been doing an excellent job.
