I'm too lazy this am to look for ages of these guys...any under 28? If not I'd pass... I'd like to see NFC list and what JPP could do in Bowles system

Wasn't Leon Hall good at one point?

For a team hurting for CBs, I was surprised to see no one was interested (but don't follow these guys close enough to have an educated opinion) . . .

idk ages either but with harris probably following rex and coples a question at backer, I see some solid Linebacker U options there

I think Andy Levitre is an interesting possibility.

He had his best seasons under chan gailey with the Bills and while he has graded out poorly with the titans, their line as a whole has been terrible - he could be more of a zone blocking guy as well. He is 28 years old.

He has been a LG with the Titans (not sure about when with the Bills) so we would have to likely move Oday to RG to fit him in, but to me he seems like a possible excellent value grab.

Leon Hall has had injuries, but I believe he would be let go more to find room for Dre Kirkpatrick, then due to his overall play. Could be a good veteran signing to compete with the guys we have.

Leon Hall has torn his Achilles twice. We have a youngness of those.

Mayo if healthy or Griffin.

A better option then Mayo, which would cost us a late round pick is Patrick Willis.

Willis carries a $7 million cap number in 2015 and $8million in 2016. SF has Navarro Bowman coming back who is younger then willis and got a great season out of rookie chris borland at ILB - making Willis somewhat expendable.

Willis is only 29 and had most of 2014 to rest along with having surgery to repair a lingering toe issue. He is excellent in coverage and could be a great guy for us to target if SF makes him available.

I'd keep Percy Harvin, unless he decides not to take a put cut or the Jets find a better replacement for him. I'd consider Mike Wallace possibly if he enters free agency.

Willis would be great.

I don't think it's fair to call any of the Jets guys "cap casualties." The Jets have so much space, anyone they dump, it's for football reasons, and not to save money toward the cap.

Posluszny, kick the tires on him. Especially if they let Harris go.He's coming off a torn pectoral muscle and is 30 so...

I think "cheaper" would be a relative term. Willis has 2 years and basically $16 million. Worldis is gonna easily command $20 million in guaranteed money and a long term deal.

More importantly with Worldis can he play a DE/Rush LB role? We aren't going to have a Steelers-type 3-4 defense where the DEs are space eaters and the OLBs rush from a 2 point stance. We are going to need more of a DE in my opinion.

The way Rex has constructed the defensive personal on this team has really left us with some guys who don't all necessarily fit - which i why i believe they should tender Snacks and hope that another team grabs him netting us a draft pick. Coples needs to play on the line, and if we truly want to get the most out of the guys we have, we need to play Richardson as a penetrating DT, and interchange Wilk and Coples between DE and DT (which they can both do). Those 3 along with an athletic, rush OLB would make our DLine extremely formidable and would let us actually get something out of coples.

In my opinion, a guy like brandon graham or jabaal sheard would be better and cheaper fits then worldis. If we got a second round pick from a team that signs snacks, and can play those 4 guys along with keeping Kendrick Ellis as our "NT" - that would be a great group and let us fill another need with the 2nd round pick.

T.J. Barnes also looked good at times last year.

I agree. With plenty of money to spend, Harvin is the only one who can qualify in the "casualty" category if he doesn't restructure.

I tend to agree he is definitely on the downside and we should be looking for his eventual replacement not creating a situation where we need to play him longer than necessary due to salary concerns.

Brick is 31 years old and while we can all use PFF numbers that "indicate" his play has "fallen off" the truth is he has been just as good as always - the difference is he doesnt have alan faneca next to him he has putrid brian winters and oday.

Brick has been VERY durable for us and at 31 still has 2-3 years of top level play left, plus LT is not nearly as debilitating of a position as guard is. Im not saying we shouldnt be looking at developing future Offensive Lineman, nor am I against him restructuring his deal, but he is not currently overpriced, and is still a top 10 LT in the game. Give him a QB that understands how to set a protection or a LG who isnt a complete abomination and he would "grade out" much better.
