I don't love either QB, but if Mariota falls to the Jets they probably have to take him, provided they are 100% certain his shoulder injury will NOT be a problem in the future. If the doctors say its a complete non issue moving forward, then we probably have to take him. I'd be more confident in landing an impact player with White or one of the edge rushers, but if you have a crack at a potential franchise QB, and you don't already have one, its hard to take a pass. So I would probably reluctantly take Mariota and hope for the best.

Can we trade MM? I would take him but I think anyone except Ray & Fowler...not saying they can't play just I want to be able to score...I want upgraded weapons or an Oline that compliments Ivory's running style that gets him one on one with LB or S...he would make them have to make business decisions

i was high on mariotta but after that game against state i believe he may be a product of the offense he ran. In the NFL everything speeds up and so does everyone else. With that being said if they don't have a plan to go after mallet or glennon or someone then yeah I take mariotta at 6.

if you can get the Eagles to trade with you do that (need Foles in the deal) or maybe another team. if not you take him and hope it turns into a franchise QB

Trade the pick. I would call the Browns or the Eagles to see if they are willing to move up to get Mariota. Jets only have 6 draft picks and the othe potential draft picks could really help the Jets fix their other needs.

I'm leery of Mariota. I do think he is a system QB and his recent shoulder injury is another concern to me. If Winston was able I would consider drafting him. I feel if Winston gets his act together that he can be a good quarterback in the NFL.

Depends also what we do in free agency. I like Kevin White. Great and size speed that has potential to be a #1 WR for the Jets which is also a big need for the Jets, expectually if the Jets do decide to part ways with Percy Harvin. Would also consider an offensive lineman.

If trading is not an option then I would go with a WR there I think. Don't love using a top ten pick on a wideout, but not sold on Mariota or the offensive tackles at that point in the draft.
