If you noticed it says automatic refresh on some of our bigger threads. What this does is after a thread gets to 50 posts you no longer have to hit F5 to refresh the page.
This is great for game threads and in no way does it hinder you from posting while it is refreshing. it only refresh's the last page.
So for instance sometimes in game threads I am a page or two behind because i had to get my kid something I can read that page and it will not refresh on me, so it is easier for me to catch up to the current page.
