I like Torrey Smith a lot too. I suspect Dez and Thomas get franchised and Smith is one of the few worthwhile WRs that hit the market. I suspect we keep Harvin...and Im fine with that, but I'd be okay with signing Smith and then cutting Harvin.

You have to think if Harvin was on that list, he'd be top 5. Smith would be 3rd for me, but I live in Maryland so I'm bias...

not me i see harvin nothing more than a gadgett player i would cut harvin give seattle a 6th round pick then sign torrey to a 6-7 m per deal.

Smith has reportedly already turned down $7 mil per to stay with the Ravens. He's really looking to cash in.

I heard Ravens offered T.Smith 5yrs/$35M before the season with $19M guaranteed. $7M/yr is very fair. Smith started slow; finished strong

Except Smith wont sign for that. He turned down $7mill per year from his hometown team....so I don't find it likely he comes to NYC for under $10 mill per season.

I see him as a kick returner putting our offense between the 25 and 50 on most drives.

Again, a kid from Maryland that went to the university of Maryland and plays for Baltimore has already turned down 7 mill per year from baltimore...pretty sure that means he isn't coming to NY for 6-7 mill, right, because he already has an offer on the table for at least that much...so you already know he isn't coming her for less than 8, that'sounds like a lock...

You'd prefer 8-9 guaranteed mill per year in Torrey over 10 mill non-gauraunteed in Harvin?
