Pretty quiet since the big Pepsi appearance in Rochester and the HUGE Buffalo auto show autograph signing but NOW

Back on the radio again....

HIGHLIGHTS

Irony of the day...

Boasts that his Bills are gonna be bullies and all that stuff

Then signs Incognito

Also

Looking forward to Hard Knocks and all that stuff, probably not this year though

We're going to the playoffs and all that stuff

If you wrote this in a book about our former circus clown, it would get panned as "too unrealistic"

Meanwhile, back in Florham Park,. Bowles and Macaggnan quietly evaluate their roster, prepare for the combine, free agency and the draft

I don't know why, but I'm sort of indifferent to Rex. I don't hate him. Right now his mission is the same, dethrone the Pats. He can talk , we can be quiet, but both won't matter much unless the division changes hands. And let's face it, Rex had a garbage roster last year, that nobody wins with

Rex was a good coach. He got a lot out of our crappy roster and is a master motivator. He did have lots of flaws. When his team was good they were hidden and the good shined through but later on in his tenure he couldn't overcome them. His biggest flaw is stubbornness to adapt to the roster. He didn't try to design a defense around his personnel but instead tried to fit his players into his scheme. He had bad clock management.

He however brought relevance to us that we didn't have in a long time. I was excited to be a jet fan with him at the helm. I don't care for him anymore since he's no longer a jets coach but I don't think the hate is justified. It was the right move to move on from him in my opinion.

Well said Rex was fun and I enjoyed his time here but it's time to move on, your right hating him is silly.

Agree with Savage, admin, and Bronx. Rex was a fun coach, lots of excitement. His time came and went. Sorry he's with the Bills, we will probably over the next few years see some of our popular D players going to Buffalo, which I'll hate, but that's life.

If Smith is still QB this year suspect Rex will eat him alive. Wish Rex had waited and signed with Atlanta. The continued hatred is silly

Rex was a good DC. He was never a good HC.[/QUOUTE/]

this and i don't hate him as a person although savage would prob say i am lying. I always hated him as a head coach and the lies that come out of his mouth regarding how he runs his football team

preaching fair competition and all

or anointing our current drat picks who have never played a nfl game yet like they were on their way to canton already

just got sick and tired to listening to that mouth, he was like a big bully until you punched him in the mouth then he wasn't such a bully after that and that is what the coaches of the nfl punched him right in the mouth and he had no answers.

I loved the under handed slap or jab that that Coach Bowles took @ Rex yesterday @ the Combines. He sad he is not building a team of bullies like other coaches, he is building a team by being perfectionist @ their positions.

Rex being Rex that will be great up there for awhile until it's not anymmore

I love the fact that Bills friends of mine, up here in Rochester, who were very vocal to me about how they couldn't stand Rex especially in 09 and 10 are now flustered and tongue tied...

"Your going to love him!" is all I keep saying :)

The DREAM TEAM!

Lol. Why the hell are the players hyping these guys up. It should be the other way around. Maybe to the players They are the dream team. They will never be held accountable for anything they do wrong.

I like Rex but he's far from being a top coach. Let's see if he learned anything from his stint here. When everything is going well for him, he's fun to watch and listen but when he starts to lose, it will be hard to listen to. I kept getting fed up with his apologies and lies that "we are going to fix it".

I saw an article where he announced that he will continue to call all the defensive signals while his ventriloquist dummy Dennis stands next to him and relays the call to the defense on the field

Bro, going to miss the civil tag teaming we've had through the years though I'm very hopeful that our new GM and coach will make that unnecessary anyway...

Great job helping to keep us all together at our new home. The new mix is great!:smiley-cool11:

To keep it on topic, It's kind of funny to now see Rex from the outside. It seems that the overinflated ego boost to his players is already being pumped up (dream team ). I still love his personality and the identity he brought to the Jets though his flaws as a HC are already starting to repeat themselves. I predict he will have the same early success that he had with the Jets in getting his players to buy in though at the same time the unaccountability aspect will also start to grow and we all know how that ended. It should be interesting!
