Hoyer to Remain Browns Starter

The Browns just announced that it's not Johnny Football time just yet. Hoyer is to remain the starter. Sucks! I am so curious to see how he would do in the NFL. I guess we just have to wait a bit longer.

How do you think Manziel's NFL tenure will be remembered? He's such a polarizing personality.

I like manziel but I do think it is the right decision. Hoyer has earned the right to start again. I think pettine wants to see how he will play the rest of the year and then decide if they can let him go to FA next year or maybe dangle manziel as trade bait to move up in the draft.

We know if manziel was dangled the cowboys and possibly depending on the new coach/gm jets will at least keep a ear open in case a deal can be made.

Very true, and I am just as interested to see him play. In all honesty, Hoyer is done there, once he was benched and people got a taste of Johnny Football it was over. This is his last stand and he will be on a short leash. Any signs of trouble and its Johnny's team.
