I think the Jets can finish in the bottom three in the league. We are unraveling.

Think the Jets will beat the Titans. Could also beat the Vikes. If that happens, another DL. in Williams? Oh Boy

The team that scares me the most on that list is the Redskins because snyder is like steinbrenner was if he wants a player he will trade anything and give any money for that player and i think they learned from RG3 so they stay away from winston but I bet they would love mariotta.

Raiders won't take Mariota I don't think, but somebody will trade up to #1 to get him. If the Jets want him, they better be ready to give up the farm. To many holes to do that

To move from 2 to 1 costs only 400 points...that's roughly a 2 and a 5

If the value is higher because its a QB, maybe a 2 a 4 and next years 2.

That goldmine Raider90210 is dream about would come from a team moving up from the teens or higher. None of those have GeNO at QB

WRECKS won't be here to ruin the next one

WRECKS! Now i get why people called him that. it's what he did to our promising (at least what we thought initially) qbs. He is beyond awful at developing qbs. Remember Mark Sanchez's color coded system.

You don't actually think the GM's use that chart do you? Plus it was designed before the rookie cap, when nobody really wanted to trade up for top 5 picks.

The things that determine draft value? who the player is, and how many teams are interested

The chart is still used by all 32 teams and has been updated for the rookie salary cap. Virtually every trade up or down comes within a few points of chart value.

I think this past game shows they don't have faith in him with the 50 runs lol

As many holes as we have it won't matter if all of them get fixed if the qb spot doesn't. Unless we are fielding the ravens or Seahawks defense of their Super Bowl years, you need the qb. If the new regime deems mariota as their guy then whatever is given up is necessary. However, as we are seeing with RGIII, if you are going to give up a lot, you'd better be right.

With Mo Wilks out winning becomes even harder. Vikes have been good at home, and Titans game hopefully will be a toss up

Not really worth arguing about but I just checked two trades from last years draft that I could remember

Browns traded with Eagles for the 22nd pick Manziel 22nd= 780

Birds got 26= 700 and 83= 175 Total 875 a difference of 95 from the chart

Cowboys traded with Redskins for the 34 th pick Demarcus Lawrence 34th=560

Redshinks got 47= 430 and 78= 200=630 Difference of 70 from the chart.

I never suggested that the number had to be hit exactly. Both those trades and nearly all others come out pretty close and in the range suggested by the Value chart. I even said from the beginning that the jets should offer a premium to the Raiders to.trade up for Mariota...maybe as high as 600 for a move from 2 to 1 even though the chart suggests 400 because its a QB and the Jets really should want him

I was really disagreeing with Raiderdopeaholic who is living in.his usual fantasy world and thinks the jets will need to offer 4000 points to his perennial basement dwellers for a one spot move in the draft

You're also talking about lower numbered picks. 22 and 34...what the jets might need to trade into is the first overall pick.
