Most Likely Jets Pick at #6?

I am pretty sure at some point we will see a trade for Foles poll from Sarge but this one he is looking for our pick if we stay put at 6

Of course it is possible to pick at six and still trade for Foles. That would be nice.

this is of course assuming texans don't release fitz and philly doesn't trade foles. It would also be contingent on mccnown signing elsewhere and hoyer resign with the browns.

Sarge makes a lot of polls with all kinds of different scenarios. I don't believe he is looking for the answer to what should we do with the pick in this particular poll. I think he is just trying to find out which of those players the fan base likes most if the pock was used.

Some others also do but pretty much he is.

If Mariota drops, it'll be him. (Assuming no Foles deal)

I love Sarge's polls, and I voted Fowler as well. The choice isn't who you want to see taken at 6, it is who you think is most likely to be taken at 6.
If we stay put-Peat, I think both Cooper and Mariota will be gone.
I'm the other Peat vote so far. Think he is going to show out at the Combine and push for Top 5 status
Lets see Cooper's 40 time first. he doesnt have elite size or speed, a little like Reggie Wayne. I wonder if the group of 6'3-6'6 Wrs (White, Parker, DGB) run in the 4.3 and he runs closer to 4.5 if that hurts his stock at all...

Back on the other board, I think you ran a similar poll a month or more ago, and I picked Peat that time, but he's gotten so little buzz so far that i figured he might not be all that. He has great physical tools and intelligence--not a bad combination at that position. I'd be happy fortifying the OL in a big, long-term way, if he merits the #6 pick.
I voted Mariota because I'm assuming phila won't be dumb enough to trade us Foles and a 1st and 2nd for this year and next year for Mariota. Also the possibility that someone else or even phila may trade ahead of us for fear of what we may do or some other QB needy team for Mariota I doubt also. So I think Mariota will be there and we will draft him. If he is gone I say go with Kevin White, Devante Parker or the best o-linemen out there.
