I'M WITH YOU ON THIS 1,000 PERCENT. ZACH HAS 10 TIMES MORE TALENT THAN DARNOLD IMO BUT HE IS STILL A ROOKIE AND WILL MAKE MANY MORE MISTAKES. SO PATIENCE IS THE KEY WITH HIM, THIS TEAM AND THIS REGIME. THE JETS HAVE A VERY YOUNG TEAM, COMBINED WITH AN INEXPERIENCED CS AND GM. SO THIS WILL BE A PROCESS!

JK….. I’m a Zach fan and I hope he does well. We just need to set a. Nice easy game plan for him and hope the defense doesn’t crap its pants. I for one would love to see Zach play with the lead for once early on…..

I will judge him on a game to game basis. If he looks like he learned nothing or can't hit a screen pass then I will continue my doubt of him. If he crushed an awful Texans team then I will probably continue my doubt of him. I need to see good to great play these last 7 games. I will doubt him until he proves otherwise. I really want him to succeed though because it sets the Jets back at least 5 years if he doesn't. I wanted Darnold to succeed, but always felt the team around him didn't help. I doubt he would have been good if he started for a better franchise because he has proven otherwise with a more talented team. My fear with Wilson is he might not be able to handle the pressure of NY which few QB's can.
I felt that way too until recently. Based on how things are going for him in Carolina I'm not so sure the team around him was the real problem.
I just hope Jets follow a path like Bills did by getting Allen a top WR target in year 2. I see Wilson talent passing and hopes he keeps passing fast and if WRs not awake he beans them. I was hoping the young WR would bond with Wilson not listening to our average WRs who act like they are greatest but cant show it unless easy short slow passes. Wilson this time needs to make a point by hitting these WRs over and over that arent looking for passes at times or cant catch the speed passes. Wilson needs to throw his pass and hit them every time so blame falls on them . INTs,dropped passes, if WRs not doing to help him, then bean them.
When we watch NFL Teams QBs passing you can see the big arms and who has it. When I see Zach Wilson passes he has that arm like the top 10 QBs in the NFL! Watching Cowboys Raiders QBs yesterday I was think Zach has that type of arm and I think he is more accurate then both QBs seen turkey day. So all this sillyness about Zach not good enough while on a half ass built team in his first year is just silly. Yes Jets should have bought a few really good Vets to help him instead of current arrogant below average players not helping Zach. Next year Jets gets the O Line with a true Leader at Center and a WR that sees Zach can make him big and Jets will change. But if Jets dont? Then we will be known as a bad QB team while Zach will go to a real team and be a top 10 QB in NFL. Hell maybe get Darnold back to stay typical bad Jets team with no life,no heart no balls. Media again will trash Jets like they did in first 2 years with Rex Ryan and made the media look stupid. Im hoping current Coaches and GM and QB will change the entire Team Players attitude and skill. If not? I might be done
Lofty dreams. I know Wilson has talent but seriously, where do some of you guys get these lofty ideas about this kids future .
I didn’t like Darnold coming out . I didn’t like Goff coming out . I wasn’t a big fan of Mahommes coming out and I didn’t like Sanchez or Lienart .
On the other hand I was a big proponent of Josh Allen, Josh Freeman, Teddy Bridgewater, Mitch Trubisky and a few other.

I'm hoping that sitting and watching for several weeks helps him a ton. But if he comes back playing like he was before he went down, I wouldn't be surprised NOT one bit.
It hasn't clicked yet for him, maybe the time away helps him. Maybe it doesn't click this season and it takes an offseason of focused training to get him there. Maybe it never clicks and we are drafting another QB in the near future.
