I tend to agree that Ryan gets too much of a pass, and Idzik too much of the blame for the Jets' miserable performance over the last 4-5 years. At least Idzik left us with a ton of cap space and most of our draft picks, versus Tanny's legacy. It bears repeating in these discussions about Idzik's performance that Ryan presided over the franchise as HC/developer of players, and the drafts during his tenure produced little or nothing except a couple of DL. I just think it is shortsighted and unfair to attribute this franchise's demise to one man. It makes your arguments look hollow and adolescent when you continue to rant about Idzik.
