any interest? This should've happened 5 years ago...anyways, hopefully I'll get together with the guys, throw some back, and watch.

I'll be watching. Anyone hear what pay per view going to cost?
Thanks for that update. That's just crazy! Going to have to get together with a couple other guys to go in on this.According to this link a HD broadcast of the fight could cost up to $100. It will only feature three fights, the main event and two lower card fights. If so, that's insanely expensive!

Boxing is dead. I can't even name a heavy Weight contender. I saw Tyson fight James "Quick" Tillis back in '86 at the Glens Falls Civic Center and that was
pretty cool to witness. This was before Tyson was champ and he was knocking everyone out within 3 rounds. Tyson's people wanted him to work on stamina so this was 10 rd UD for Tyson.
besides tyson the best fighter i ever saw was sugar ray leonard him and those hagler fights were great
lightweight my fav boxer was pernell whitaker.
Hey Wicker Man. I can't name a heavyweight at all. Use to follow back in the 70's, 80's, 90's. We did what we had to do, to see the big fight,
which was a pay per view event in a movie theater or whatever. That's really cool you saw Mike fight in person! Must have been exciting when
he came into the ring with the black trunks and no rope. Went to utube and watched the 1st 4 rounds of this fight. Mike's second year as a pro,
19-0. Tillis 31-8 at the time. At least you got 10 rounds of action. Member what you paid for your ticket?
There is a boxing documentary I found on utube called The Fabulous Four you might like. I sure did! It's about Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, and Duran.
I'll check this out. I remember a while back HBO had a documentary and chronicled all the top fights of the century. These guys are a bit before my time so I never really saw them fight. Documentary was well done and made me interested in watching more of their fights
The HBO series was called Legendary Nights. Remember that as well, it's good.
Yea, feel the same way
Lost a lot of appeal, to me anyway, by waiting so long
They both could have went at it in their prime, maybe even with rematches ala Frazier and Ali
Or like The Hitman and SugarRay
Now that would have been something
