That's completely understandable, and like I said there are times I agree with that line of thinking. My only fear is that, every time we thrust a young QB into a game and we expect him to make plays like a ten year vet and he inevitable screws up, we'll discard him without really finding out what he brings to the table. Especially since it looks like we'll be drafting a QB high this coming draft. If we can't let a young QB mess up on his own and come back out and try again, where does that leave us (That's actually my biggest problem with Ryan, but that's a conversation for a different time)?

That's my biggest gripe against our fan base. I cringe when I am at the games and our fellow fans start to boo our QBs. Happened with Sanchez and happened with Geno. It's just a toxic environment and hard for these qbs to succeed. It's human nature to try to do too much. I think the best thing to do with our next QB is to sit him on the bench and make him learn, bring him in when expectations are at the lowest.
