Shady McCoy traded to Buffalo

I'm sure he was a stabilizing factor was felt beyond his stats. What do you think of replacing Orton with your boy Cassell?

We shall see.
I do believe Cassel is a large upgrade & with the receivers in BUF, think Cassel has the opportunity to prove himself a Pro Bowl caliber QB and not just a 2 season fluke.
A lot of people forget, Cassel sat behind Palmer and Leinart for 4 years in college and never played a game.
Then he sat behind Brady for another 4 years in NE, until starting in 2008.
That's almost EIGHT YEARS without playing any meaningful snaps and he still took that team to an (11-5) record the minute he got an opportunity.
The 5 losses were all to playoff-bound teams, (PIT, Indy, SD, MIA),and Favre, (in OT).

LOL. I don't think it's that bad of a move for Buffalo. They have the cap space. It essentially makes McCoy very cuttable after two seasons.

Yeah, but we have the cap space and would you do it? They could have got Spiller at half that price I bet and gone into the season with another year of Spiller and Jackson in Roman's offense. If I was a Bills fan, I would have preferred that based on the price. Dude is getting paid like Brady...and McCoy is awesome, but he doesnt impact a game like Brady, IMO, so he shouldnt get Brady money.

I agree with this approach. And they could have still kept Alonso to boot. And drafted one in the 3rd round for depth. A very strong RB class this year.
They are spending their money fast.
