I'm happy they didn't make a huge splash in free agency. I didn't see this as a good free agency year for the team anyway. I never read the article but I agree that it hinges on Zach Wilson stepping forward significantly. I think the draft, along with Wilson progressing, will make or break this team.
But I must also add, that if Wilson's 2nd season is like Darnold's 2nd season, then it will have been a successful improvement.

The team also needs an RB. I like Carter but he's par for the course.

That’s about what I’m expecting and I’m also with you on the RB. I have no problem with the status quo at RB but I would be crazy not to consider an upgrade. There’s no position on this roster that couldn’t use an upgrade.
It will be what it will be, but I would rather draft a WR than sign one of these guys with swollen heads who’ve never won a darn thing.
As long as we can draft someone as good as these two guys then sure why not! Only problem is can we? Both of these guys are still very young, only 23-24 years old and extremely Talented. Hard to beat that!
You forgot both are also head cases otherwise why would their teams be putting them on the market. As you yourself said, both are young and talented .

sorry bout that but looks like London's ankle not healing properly did not work out at USC's pro day wanted extra time to heal up so was suppose to work out on the 6th now has been pushed back to the 15th that does not bode well for him as a 1st round selection if he is still lingering from the surgery.
i don't wish him any ills, but taking a WR that high who is slower than molasses in January doesn't make me feel warm and cozy.
He should of been ready to go a few weeks ago but wanted extra time to get his ankle stronger so he created a separate pro day now pushes it back further does not look good for him. Being the draft is on the 28th he is leaving team's little time to evaluate him then maybe bring him in as a Pre Draft 30 visit. I think he could fall out of the first if he does not run a sub 4.5 whenever his pro day will be.
