I was a little nervous that we wouldn't get an EDGE in the first round because I thought we drafted a position that we didn't need at #4. Seeing as I wouldn't have been upset with JJ at #4, but to get him at 26 could be a steal. He sets the edge well which this team sucked at and he has potential as a pass rusher. Just imagine if Lawson comes back healthy. Sauce upgraded the CB position. I'm hoping they don't trade Hall just because I think you can't have enough cheap talented players on the roster especially in a passing league. Garrett Wilson could be great. My friend who loves OSU likes him, but loves Olave. Then again he thought we stole Devin Smith. This was a very good day 1 of the draft. We need two more starters out of the draft to be a homerun, but that will be hard without #35 so I will settle with a starter from pick #38.

TCT, my thoughts exactly. I didn't like Sauce at 4, I really wanted KT. However, collectively, this is a very nice day 1. The fact that we were able to hold onto 38 is an added bonus.

Jahan Dotson was a BIG reach by Washington. Mims will have a better Pro career than Dotson.

KT is the one player I didn’t want. I don’t think there is much of a difference between top 5 EDGE players so if that’s the case I would rather have the guy they coached at Senior Bowl. And also not the guy with no production. Maybe JJ is going to be a bust and that’s why he fell, but I trust what they saw during the week at Senior Bowl.
I'm more impressed at 0:21 (when he spins off of a block to tackle make a tackle) than the pass rushing.
Good players still available. We need another LB and looks who’s left. Nakobe Dean, Chad Muma, Leo Chanel, Christian Harris. Wow. Only a few good safeties left. Brisker and Pitre. CB Andrew Booth still there. Unreal. All the RB’s. Kenneth Walker or Breece Hall would be nice. OT Bernhard Raimann is still there.
Overall I'm happy. Didn't like the WR pick but I can live with it. Master stroke by JD getting back into the 1st AND keeping 38. Big move there imo. Now some LB'ers an RB TE and some depth at OL and maybe another WR late and I will be a happy Jet Fan.

The Jets are getting a lot of love for what they’ve done. Can’t argue with it. Good prospects at big positions of need. I wanted Edge and WR. I’m satisfied.
Value for the spot. They could have had him at 10.
And Strahan made his money beating Runyan like a drum on his way to puttin D-Mac into the turf. It happens. Hopefully Lawson is healthy enough to keep the Olines honest.
We absolutely NEED the Garrett Wilson pick to work out for us. Hoping he'll be a difference-maker on NFL level (he HAS TO be based on both his draft and skill position).
