heard some snippets of saleh on the michael kay show yesterday.. he said things to the effect of..

football fans in general expect things to change almost immediately..

NYers are angry people because they're 8 million of us in a city with not enough room to breathe..

then he doubled down on his "keeping receipts.." apparently the plan has escalated from reminding people about the receipts to shoving them down peoples throats!! oh, & he said he's speaking for the entire organization as far as what he plans on doing with the receipts..

dude is cracking under the pressure in real time.....

That's kind of sad. He needs to handle himself better in front of the media.

Every one of Saleh's critics wants him to succeed. So there's no need for him to act like a tool. If he can't handle himself better then this is probably his last season.

Also, Saleh's cliches (ie AGNB, 60%) harken back to Lou Holtz era when Holtz made the learn the Jets fight song. And I think Holtz wrote the song as well. Here's a cliche for you Saleh WTG!!

I don't think this will be 1996 all over again where we had at least middle-of-the-road talent but finished 1-15. But week 1 felt that way and that's why we're angry.

Saleh should also stop comparing the 2021 Jets to an expansion team. Someone should point out to him that both the expansion Jaguars and Panthers made it to their respective conference championship games in their 2nd season.

Are the Jets the worst team in the league? I would doubt it. There is more talent than that. And some young players played well, as ESPN grudgingly admitted.
