Do you think it makes sense that people evaluate whether a an is good based on the school they go to? For example, when talking about Mariota many people bring up that all Oregon QBs that were drafted were disappointments. Is that a valid point to bring up when evaluation Mariota?

I think it's ridiculous

The failure of the QB's before him have no bearing on how Mariota will perform. What might have an impact is why they failed. If it is because of the system, that doesn't prepare them for NFL offenses, then it is a major concern.

Very tough to step into the NFL out of an air raid offense

Good question. I think he has a long wind up but seems okay to me. flgreen ?

he does have a bit of a wind up when he's throwing deep. Can get it out fairly quick on shorter passes. Winston't main problems are his foot work, and has a gun slinger mentality. Tries to get the ball where doesn't fit
