The thing is, we know what he can do and crucially what he can't do, the can't do's outweigh everything else massively.
How much would Beathard cost from the Jags?
I was also hoping we would have taken a late QB and D. Thompson-Robinson in particular, he was intriguing, obviously, he isn't ready but then again people once said Herbert wasn't ready to start got a chance for an injured #1 and then he's never looked back.

Here's a good place to start: Read in Athletic (Zack Rosenblatt) that ZW has the highest passer rating in the league when he throws within 2.5 seconds, conversely last in the league after 2.5 seconds. Small sample size but... Seems like you kill two birds (OL/QB) with one stone if all passes all designed for a quick release.

Yeah I don't think any of us know. Until that idiot Hackett gives the ball to the best RB we have and runs him behind the biggest OL and best OL next to him, we won't with Rodgers. I don't have a problem with a late round pick, but nothing before the 4th round.
