Yep, Zach isn't more than serviceable but the biggest problem is offensive line. Just think what Breece Hall would have done with the holes the Giants created for Barkley. Becton gets beaten too easily on pass pro and the alternative is Brown. Next week we will probably be without our first THREE choices at center.

zach started his career her with no o line. Anything he does doesn’t count until he plays behind a competent line. Let’s remember, Rodgers lasted 4 plays behind this line. Last year, everyone got killed behind this line

tom Brady showed the league what a qb can do with 8 seconds to throw, and he did it for 25 years. No one is getting a great offensive lineman ever again unless they draft one or severely over pay

It has also to be said that with the anaemic state of the offense we just can't afford some of the indiscipline shown by the defense. Pass rushers who vacate their lanes and players who commit ridiculous bonehead penalties on critical plays. The coaching staff have to take the blame for this.

a 40 yard yellow flag won it & he still grounded three throws like only he can. the other team could not pass in the last half forget the centers

You can't 'forget the centers' because without an exchange you can't make a play. Newman seemed to settle after that disastrous first snap, though some of the balls Zach had to field were 'interesting'. I didn't understand why Zach was sitting on the bench rather than practising exchanges with Newman.

I agree but a team that can't pass is a way, way, way bigger handicap. If that was mike white they would have thrown downfield

Look bottom line is the jets sucked raw eggs but still won.....Is it me or when Sack walks on the field for a set of downs he walks like a girl??? He looks like a little girl coming on the field

Jesus H Christ they won the game AND beat the GIANTS. Be Glad You're not on the losing end of a game like that. We usually DO lose these games in exactly the way the Giants lost today. Be happy. I got a feeling there will be plenty to bitch about in the coming weeks.

The O line has it's problems and cost us several times this game, but putting all the blame on them and ignoring the worst QB in the league behind them is no better.

We were 5-2 last year, lost our RB and everything went down hill. Just like last year with Breece, we are winning "in spite of the QB play". If Breece goes down, we will start losing again just like last season.

Nothing has changed! Zach is the same player he was last year! We win with Breece "in-spite" of Zach, we never win because of Zach. He is not a competent QB, quite the opposite. From time to time (ie 2 minute drill, will no thinking and 1 read), he makes a nice throw here/there because he has the arm to do that. What he doesn't have and apparently will never have, is what's necessary between he's ears to play this position in the NFL.

He is a deer in the headlights. He can't see the field, he can't read a defense, he can't anticipate a throw (shit he had a couple of throws that it was dump luck they weren't picked because he was throwing into double/triple coverage, and to well covered receivers and just got lucky to not get picked). He IS NOT AN NFL QB
