After today we can get 2 1'sI read this too. I will believe it when I see it. I think Zach is not tradeable. Why give up anything for him? Just wait for them to release him.

I would agree with this, especially with the way he played today!I seriously don’t think Joe Douglas is ever gonna give up on Zach Wilson. I think he might fire Saleh before parting ways with Wilson.
With the way Zach played today, it makes it hard to figure out what’s going to happen. He’s never consistent so they probably won’t get anything for him. Knowing our luck, he’ll play like he did today for the rest of this year and turn back into a dud next year. After they keep him!I read this too. I will believe it when I see it. Zach has won games before. It's how he plays in the final 4 that will determine his future. If he wins all 4 like today then we can talk. I think this was a one and done.Imagine if the Jets win out, Zach leads the way, and Rodgers gets released!!!!!
You're probably right TCT. I think Zach is a goner no matter what happens over the rest of the Season.Zach has won games before. It's how he plays in the final 4 that will determine his future. If he wins all 4 like today then we can talk. I think this was a one and done.

That’s true!Even a blindman hits the bullseye in darts once in awhile.
I like the comparison with those two guys from a physical standpoint, but you're right from the more important mental aspect of the position. I'm just not as certain as many here as to the why. To sit here behind my keyboard and say he does or does not have the mental capacity for the position is in my opinion irresponsible. Yesterday was eye-opening, but is it sustainable? If yes, then will have traded him too early. If not, then a trade would be best. I look at Rodgers and he sat for 3 years watching and learning behind Favre; would he have been as successful if thrown into it right away especially in a crucible like NY? Mahomes sat for a full year behind Smith and with an offensive genius in Andy Reid as his coach. I'm gonna take a wait and see approach before I have an opinion. The problem with this kid is he has all the QB talent in the world. I mean like Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes type talent but he doesn’t have their mentality, awareness and brains. He doesn’t have it up too like they do, so he can’t do what they can. At least not consistently anyway and from the looks of it, this might never be the case. You will get a game like this from him every three years or every year at most but not consistently. So what is any team supposed to do with that!
I definitely can’t argue or debate what you’re saying but what we all see, we can’t deny! Zach is talented beyond belief but he is not consistent, AT THE LEAST! At the most, he just mentally doesn’t have it like Mahomes and Rodgers does. It appears to me that he just doesn’t have it but maybe he is a late bloomer. Like you said, Rodgers sat for 3 years and Mahomes sat for a year. I doubt that seriously that he’s a late bloomer but it could very well be the case!I like the comparison with those two guys from a physical standpoint, but you're right from the more important mental aspect of the position. I sat 54 years behind the Jets so I will be the greatest QB the league has ever seen.I like the comparison with those two guys from a physical standpoint, but you're right from the more important mental aspect of the position.
