We all pretty much expect Rex Ryan to get fired at the end of the season but what do you think of Idzik's chances of holding onto his job?

I honestly cannot think of any reasons for him to be our GM other than he never had the chance to pick his head coach but to me that doesn't even matter. No head coach can succeed with the crap roster that he put together.

Idzik has to go. I really don't want this guy hiring the next HC, or using that early draft pick the Jets are going to get. Mistakes there will set the Jets back for years.

Clean sweep

I think most Jets fans would be in agreement. Woody should ask for his money back from Korn and Ferry. Awful job there headhunters!

Thing is, it was handled like a corporate hire instead of an NFL hire. Korn Ferry, Woody had an executive from the Johnson Investment Co there for the interviews. Probably a great investment broker, but What the heck does he know about football?

And who did they hire? A freaking bookkeeper. Got to get a football guy next time.

Wow - I didn't know that an executive from Johnson Investment Co was there! why? Let's just hope that Woody learns from his mistakes and gets rid of Idzik. A GM is very important and can do damage to the team for years. Let's hope he sees that.

"Three candidates, reached by ESPNNewYork.com, described their interviews as unusual because no so-called football people were in the room. It was Hughes, Johnson and team president Neil Glat and Johnson's attorney, Ira Akselrad.

"It was strange, to say the least," said one candidate, speaking on the condition of anonymity. "Let's just say there wasn't a lot of X's and O's talk."

When you go out to find a bean counter as GM, you can't be surprised when you only get one impact player out of 20 selections in 2 drafts
