The Colts in my opinion have won Free Agency

Colts did great during FA but a lot of teams did, especially the Jets. Rams pulled a steal in getting Foles, Eagles actually did great in getting Murray which helps the McCoy-Alozno trade make since now. Seattle getting Graham, WOW! Miami signing Suh and Cameron (I believe) was boss and the Giants and Denver were quiet in their signings but nice pick ups. Now our Jets came up big time and I'm very happy with the aggression and smart signings. Colts will be tuff but that is centered around Luck and his play. For us to content with anyone, our QB (Geno or whomever) has to hold their own and not mess it up.

Im not worried about Suh. pat Kirwin had a great response to the Suh signing yesterday. He asked, "Suh couldn't win on a team built around Stafford, Calvin Johnson, and Suh. So Miami fans think Suh will win with tannehill, mike wallace, and suh? Suh is getting paid QB money, but obviously doesnt impact a game like Suh and just went to a less talented team...why would I expect Miami to be going anywhere based on this addition if its a worse situation he went to?"

But seriously, Marshall is 30, soon to be 31, Dre is 33, soon to be 34

Thats not a big difference in interpersonal relationships, in fact its no difference at all, but in football the difference of three years in your 30's is huge. When the Jets traded for Marshall, I think all of us agree that if we can get three good years out of Marshall that would be awesome, and at that point he'll be where Dre is now.

Agreed. If both teams had Andrew Luck, we'd have the better team on paper.

They supplemented great QB's..Pats and Broncos are where they are because of their QB's Bottom line end of story...Revis went to Pats..but if they didn't have them..most likey they would have got there or at least title game......they still should have lost SB with him...

Jets traded for marshall a30 year old number 1 receiver.
Colts signed Andre a34 year old. We can cut marshall with no cap hit next year.

I personally think the Colts made good moves for them, now the need to draft well for depth and the next 4 years talent. Nothing wrong with that.

Murray doesn't make Alonso trade make sense, Murray just recently called up chip Kelly, and asked him for an interview, so it wasn't part of Kelly's master plan. Alonso trade was easy, salary dump of a player who outwardly challenged Kelly's coaching philosophy as did DeSean Jackson.

No Chip didnt plan for Murray and that was Murray initiated I understand. What I'm saying is the Murray pick up validates the McCoy trade now. No matter how it came about. Same would go if they drafted a RB that played very well for them. I disagree on the Colts getting the best in FA. Andre Johnson in his prime was a solid #1 . He is well past his prime and injury prone. RB Gore was well aware that he was being replaced for a younger prime player in SF. The Colts got better but not by much and by no means did they have the best signings in FA to improve there team. I am not disagreeing that they may (with better OL) be the team to beat in the AFC as Denver and NE lost prime pieces to there teams.

Look at Lucks Playoff record...

Are you serious? Dude, he's young and just walked into Mile High and smoked them. Why don't you look up Peyton's playoff record. What about Dan Marino and Dan Fouts playoff records? And to paint such a bleak playoff record for such a young qb is a bit unfair...in 6 games he's 3-3, which is better than those 3 Qbs I just named. Chad Penning was 2-4 in the play offs in his career.

I'm sure if Luck was on our team, and at his age he already had 6 playoff games under his belt, and he was 3-3 in those game including some road play-off wins, we'd be pretty excited about his future potential of being one of the all time greats...because Luck is on his way to a brilliant hall of fame career if he doesn't get injured.

All I remember about Johnson is that, in games against the Jets, I'm not sure he's ever caught a pass against 24Revis.

Playmaker's are playmaker'sregardless of position. But, if you want to improve your running game, a $10 million rb vs a $3 million guy isn't a huge drop off in yardage. The value of curious was you didn't have to address rb for a decade, and he didn't hold out for crazy contracts.
Barry sanders never brought a championship to Detroit.
