Your Do-over Jets game

You should have been cursing Chads offense that scored 0 td's that game..As a matter of fact Chad never had a passing td against the Steelers as a Jet QB something that Clemens,Sanchez did do..As for the 1998 Denver game if we had a RB like Terrell Davis we would have had a bowl win that year..:)

I only remember the final result of that 2004 divisional game vs. Pitt.
I forgot how bad Chad was against Pitt throughout most of his career.
Pitt was his nemesis.

It's amazing. Reading through the posts in this thread is a real walk down a painful memory lane. And the 1998 and 1982 AFCCG's are my choices too, in that order.

Here's a twist. I wish we had LOST this game:

Jets at Pats, September 23, 2001

In this game, Patriots QB Drew Bledsoe suffered an incredibly violent hit from Jets LB Mo Lewis. At the time Jet fans cheered Lewis. The fans could not know that this would set off a course of events that would forever change football.

As we all know, that hit knocked Bledsoe out of the game, out of the season and ultimately, off the team. Worse yet, it paved the way for Tom Brady to take over the Pats, changing the course of history. Brady came into the game and in the end the Jets won the game.

I wish Bledsoe had not been knocked out of the game and we had LOST that game. Perhaps the AFC East would have been different... but then again, maybe not.

Yes, but Bledsoe wasn't nearly as good as Brady and at the time his play was trending downwards. At best, the Pats would have stuck with Bledsoe and eventually traded Brady to another division. At worst, it would have delayed Brady's starting by a few years. I hate to say "what if?", but this thread is based on that premise.

but that is the thing i think most of bradys goodness is because of the cheating hence if anything prob would have seen a revival in bledsoes game.
