So Cleveland offered up a #1 pick for Sam Bradford

According to Charlie Casserly, the Browns offered a 1 for Bradford. The belief now is that they will be aggressive in the draft. Something to keep an eye on for sure with that #6 pick.

I've said it all along, Mariota isn't getting past our slot, whether that be with a team trading up or the NY Jets taking him.

On a side note, is anyone else but me shocked that Bradford is still worth a #1 pick in today's NFL? His health, durability, and ability to be the same guy after the injuries is a huge question mark.

I agree! I don't see Mariota getting past the Skins. IMHO some team will trade up for him.

I still think the Jets want Bradford. Don't know if it can be worked out to get him here and trade our pick to the Eagles and they select Mariota. I also have doubts Mariota makes it to 6. Too bad we beat the Titans, that game sucked anyway, had we lost that game we would be picking 4th. BTW, I enjoyed beating the Dolphins!

Bradford is coming off of back to back major injuries and to be quite honest didn't show anything that wow'd me even when he was healthy. It's a shame but this is a QB driven league now!! They are willing to pay a premium for a huge risk.

Bradford, when healthy, and that's a big "when" is light years better than what the Jets have on their current roster. His TD/ int ratio is very good. Would I as the Jets GM want to give up #6 for him? No..the risk is too great. My gut is that he ends up with the Titans and Chip gets Mariotta.

Mariotta isn't likely to get past Tennessee, IMO. If we trade up, we need to probably do it with them. I don't think we can swing a trade like that without stripping ourselves of any options in this year's draft, especially given that we don't have a player we can offer and part with. That would make it imperative that we find a GOOD speedy LB in the middle rounds (whichever higher is left).

I think Foles is gone.

I do think - as I mentioned on that other thread - that if Mariotta is available at #6 we COULD see Bradford to Cleveland for a pick - which?- and then Eagles send us #20 and the pick from Cleveland and maybe some other pick(s) for #6 . Since we would not be getting a QB need to be more picks than discussed in Foles options.
