Quentin Skinner, WR, Kansas -​

The Jets' first UDFA signing of 2025 is towering Kansas wide receiver Quentin Skinner. At 6-foot-4, 203 pounds, Skinner is a lanky downfield threat who averaged over 22 yards per catch during his senior season.
The Jets are giving Skinner $185,000 in guarantees, a not-so-insignificant sum of money for a player who was projected to be a priority free agent. He'll look to crack a thin Jets wide receiver room this summer.

Donovan Edwards, RB, Michigan -​

The Jets land their first high-profile free agent in former College Football 25 cover athlete, Donovan Edwards. At 5-foot-11, 203 pounds, Edwards was seen as a potential future first-round pick but never lived up to his potential following a breakout 2022 season.
An honorable mention All-Big Ten selection in 2024, Edwards is an accomplished pass catcher who could carve out a role as a change-of-pace back despite his questionable vision. He has a chance to stick around on the 53 with a strong summer.

Dean Clark, SAF, Fresno State​

The Jets brought Fresno State safety Dean Clark in for a top-30 visit before the draft, making this an unsurprising addition. Clark was rewarded with $160,000 in guarantees, giving him a chance to find a home in the Jets' safety room.
At 6-foot, 208 pounds, Clark started two years at Fresno State after transferring from Kent State, developing into a rangy, physical safety prospect. He also registered nearly 700 career special teams snaps in college, which should help him carve out a role.

Jordan Clark, CB, Notre Dame​

The son of former NFL safety-turned-analyst Ryan Clark, Jordan Clark spent five years at Arizona State before transferring to Notre Dame for his final year of eligibility in 2024.
At 5-foot-9, 184 pounds, Clark rotated as a nickel defender at Notre Dame and will likely fight for a similar role in the NFL. He's an older prospect (24) who tested poorly at his pro day, but his high football IQ and leadership traits likely caught the attention of Aaron Glenn.
The Jets also don't really have a true backup nickel cornerback on their roster, giving Clark a very realistic path to at least earning a practice squad spot.

Fatorma Mulbah, DT, West Virginia​

The Jets finally add a defensive tackle in the form of West Virginia nose tackle Fatorma Mulbah. The former Penn State recruit transferred to Morgantown in 2023 and played an important rotational role in the Mountaineers' defensive line over the last two years.
At 6-foot-3, 309 pounds, Mulbah projects as a run-stuffing 1-tech defensive tackle at the next level, which is exactly what the Jets needed. The Liberia native was projected to go unselected in this weekend's draft.

Brady Cook, QB, Missouri​

The Jets have signed longtime Missouri starting quarterback Brady Cook, reuniting him with Armand Membou in Florham Park. Cook is one of the most experienced quarterbacks in Missouri history, starting nearly 40 games over the last four years.

At 6-foot-2, 214 pounds, Cook is a solid athlete with enough prerequisite arm talent to stick around at the NFL level. Like many young quarterbacks, Cook's biggest issue comes with his decision-making, especially when faced with pressure.

Still, Cook's combination of athleticism and arm strength gives him every opportunity to develop into an NFL-caliber quarterback in due time. He's absolutely a worthy developmental project.

Ja'Markis Weston, EDGE/ST, Florida

At 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, Ja'Markis Weston projects more as a special teamer than a true "edge rusher." The Florida native spent six years with the Gators, playing four different positions, and eventually proving to be the team's most valuable special teams ace.
Weston started his career as a wide receiver before brief stints as a backup safety, backup linebacker, and eventually a defensive end. He projects as a core special teamer at the next level, and the fact that the Jets gave him $200,000 guaranteed suggests he might have a long-term role

Jamaal Pritchett, WR, South Alabama​

Jamaal Pritchett spent three years at South Alabama after transferring from Division II Tuskegee prior to the 2022 season. At 5-foot-8, 175 pounds, Pritchett is a speedy, undersized slot receiver who also has experience as a punt returner.
The ultra-productive Pritchett led the Sun Belt in receiving in 2024, finishing with 1,126 yards, while tying the South Alabama single-season record for touchdown catches with nine. His success as a punt returner — plus his 4.42 speed — will be his path to an NFL roster spot.

Aaron Smith, LB, South Carolina State​

Aaron Smith led the MEAC with 92 total tackles (11 for loss) this past season as a centerpiece of South Carolina State's defense. The Jets are hoping he can follow in the footsteps of the last notable linebacker to come out of that program, former Indianapolis Colts star Shaq Leonard.

At 6-foot, 234 pounds, Smith ran an underwhelming 4.69 40-yard dash at his pro day, but the HBCU product and two-time All-MEAC selection could push for a spot as a weakside linebacker or special teams contributor

Jared Bartlett, LB/EDGE, Cincinnati​

At 6-foot-2, 238 pounds, Jared Bartlett led Cincinnati in tackles in his lone season with the program. Bartlett spent four years at West Virginia from 2019 to 2023, crossing paths with fellow Jets UDFA signing Fatorma Mulbah for a year.
The Miami native earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors after leading the Bearcats in tackles, tackles for loss, and sacks (7.5) this past season. Bartlett played both off-ball linebacker and edge rusher in college, but is a bit undersized for a traditional 4-3 defensive end role at the NFL level.

Gus Hartwig, C, Purdue​

The Jets sign their first undrafted offensive lineman in the form of longtime Purdue center Gus Hartwig. At 6-foot-5, 309 pounds, Hartwig is an experienced player with nearly 50 career starts across five seasons with the Boilermakers.
Hartwig was an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection in all five (!) years at Purdue and also has experience playing guard. That versatility could be valuable as the 23-year-old looks to earn a spot on the 53-man or practice squad as a backup interior offensive lineman.

Leander Wiegand, OT, Germany/UCF​

The Jets have signed NFL International Player Pathway (IPP) Leander Wiegand out of Germany. Arguably the strongest player in the 2025 draft class, Wiegand posted an absurd 38 reps on the bench press — five more than any other player at the NFL Combine.
At 6-foot-5, 318 pounds, Wiegand spent a year at UCF in 2021 before returning to Germany the following season, where he played in the European League of Football (ELF).
Wiegand has a good chance to stick around as the Jets' designated IPP player. Under NFL rules, teams are allowed to carry one IPP participant on both their 90-man offseason roster and their 16-man practice squad without that player counting against the roster limits.

YES we do, SORT OF. Cayden Davis from OLE MISS. I'm really thrilled about this one. Having looked up his stats for last season I have come to the conclusion that his effective range is 30 yards.

At 5-foot-11, 181 pounds, Miller ran a blazing 4.37 40-yard dash at his pro day and was seen as a borderline late Day 3/UDFA prospect entering the draft. Drops plagued Miller's lone season at Rutgers, but he still led the team in receiving with 59 catches for 757 yards and four touchdowns.
Miller's athletic profile and impressive college production put him on the NFL's radar, but much like Jets fourth-round pick Arian Smith, he needs to clean up the drop issues to make it. He projects as a slot receiver with special teams upside.

Caden Davis, K, Ole Miss - SOURCE​

One of the most high-profile kickers available in this year's class, it wouldn't have been a surprise if Caden Davis heard his name called at some point on Saturday. Instead, the Jets signed the 2024 first-team All-SEC selection as an undrafted free agent.
Davis was a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award, given to the nation's best kicker, this past season, connecting on 24-of-29 field goals, including a 57-yarder. The Texas A&M transfer made over 80% of his field goal attempts over two years at Ole Miss.
The Jets now have three kickers on their roster: Davis, Greg Zuerlein, and Anders Carlson. Don't be surprised if the team parts ways with Zuerlein after June 1st to save some cap space.
