Is Darrelle Revis back to being the top CB in the game? Last few games that they showed on national television it looks like Revis island is back. He's shutting down half the field again. Keenan Allen was unable to breathe last night.

He has made the Pats defense the best it has been in quite a while. Which I am fearing that this year they might be serious contenders unlike prior years where they were "unable to stop a nose bleed." He's the best cb that Belichek has ever had. The only other that gets close to him is Ty Law.

Sucks that he's off our team. I wish he could have retired here but at least we have him to thank for Sheldon.

Anyways, enough *****ing. Do you think the Pats pay him the money he seeks? Is he back to being the best?

It seems to me he is back all the way. if we can swallow our pride next year i'd like to take a run at him. I doubt that Patriots will pay him what he is supposed to make.

No way they can keep him on that salary next year. I doubt he takes a pay cut with the way he is playing. He he does to stay with the Pats its the ultimate back tab to us.

My guess is he will get another one year deal somewhere for big money again. I think he is turning 30 soon so he is going to have to start thinking about more longer deal for security but for now he goes to the highest bidder.

I hate that guy more than anyone in the NFL.

That said, he's without a doubt the best cover corner in the NFL. Scary thing is that he has been for every year since '09 except the year he tore his ACL. Yes, even last year playing on a ****ty team that went away from his man-to-man cover strengths with Tampa, he was still rated as the number 1 cover corner. Sherman is loud and gets pickles, so everyone gravitated towards him, but even he didn't have the lock-down year that Revis did last year.

Ugh, makes me hate his greedy ass even more. He could have been all ours. Can you tell I'm bitter?

I want to hate him, but.....we had the chance to bring him back and Woody put the kibosh on it. He sure is fun to watch. He doesn't get thrown on so he doesn't get many chances to show his ball skills, but his cover technique is flawless.
