I thought this was a pretty impressive unbiased breakdown on Marcus Mariota.
yes I do. I think if Winston falls to the jets, Mac and Bowles would ask Woody if it is okay to add a player with his baggage to the roster. i do believe that, which I guess would be the same as saying he has veto power.
Dan, Mariota isn't a sure thing like Luck. There's no way we're trading up for him. Washington went from pick six up to pick two and it was a disaster. Macc, with his affinity for draft picks as a former scout, isn't going to mortgage our future. If he's there at #6 , I could definitely see us taking him.
Is there any news on how this meeting went? I can't seem to find much
If WRECKS was still around there would have been seven annoucements, press releases and press conferences with him gushing about how much he loved MM (as he did after his Suckchez private workouts) and declarations from.Mariota that he was guaranteed that the Jets will draft him (as Coples announced after a visit prior to his draft)There isn't any info out there. I think we'll see how it went during the draft.
Dropping the French on us, what are you John Sterling?Okay. Well, if as owner of the Jets he wants to have no knowledge, say, or input on the direction of the franchise, and we all believe that is how he runs the teams he owns, c'est la vie.
