Kraft Heinz Field

Not sure if you guys follow any business news but a few days ago Heinz and Kraft announced a merger that would make their combined company, I believe the fifth largest food and beverage company. The new name of the combined entity will be JetsFansUnited, err I mean Kraft Heinz.

Imagine our stadium's corporate partner was Heinz and we had to change the name to Kraft Heinz Stadium. There would be such uproar. I know Bob Kraft and the Kraft food company are not the same but that is hilarious and deserves an award for ultimate trolling. I hope for the Steeler fans' sake that it remains Heinz Field without the Kraft added on.

This brings me to corporate sponsors. I hate it! Stadiums should have some relevance to the team's history. I know money talks but they make so much money anyways. Only a few teams haven't sold out, Packers, Bears, KC, Bengals.

The new Yankees stadium is an atrocity. It looks beautiful but that classic NY Yankees fan is priced out. It's all corporate. Playoff games and the crowds are dead.

i don't think people care for the new ownership

They don't but this stadium was built under George Steinbrenner. Such a shame, I went the first year to a bunch of games but I never returned. Rather watch on tv.

Ima yankee fan but Citi field is MUCH better

Funny you say that, we go to Yankee Stadium and think that it is far superior. Citi looks like the building blocks for Citizen's Bank Park before being shaped, painted and put in proper order. It looks like a new style stadium built by amateurs or idiots. NYS looks like a cathedral of baseball. The big problem is that they didn't build it around the original field which wiped out decades of NYY history.
