In my lifetime I had hoped to see each of my teams win at least one championship here is my scorecard

NY Yankees...................check
NY Jets....................umm yeah
Chicago Bulls...........check
Toronto Maple Leafs...........given up
Syracuse Basketball...............check
Syracuse Football............very doubtful now not the powerhouse they used to be
Syracuse LaCrosse..............check
Geoff Bodine winning daytona 500.........check
Matt Kenseth winning daytona 500............check
Geoff Bodine winning nascar championship.............failed
Matt Kenseth winning nascar championship............check

7 out of 11 I'd say I had a pretty good sports life.

my grams babysat geoff and brett bodine they were both from chemung county NY which the city of elmira NY is in where i was born.

I picked the bulls because when i saw mj play early in his career i was hooked

my step-dad got me into the maple leafs

and after bodine retired I had to get a new nascar driver and i loved the dewalt car so i picked kenseth.

I was 14 months old when the Jets won SBIII...so, CHECK! (I have to count it, even though I was crapping in my diaper as Broadway Joe was marching off the field.)

UConn Hoops - '99, '04, '11, '14
Notre Dame Football - '73, '77, '88

jets - was born a year too late, so still waiting
mets - check (1986)
islanders - check x4
knicks, technically yes as i was alive for the 1973 title (was born in 1970, but after the nba finals), but not as a rooting fan
michigan football - yes but before BCS era, so it was a shared title with nebraska for the 97/98 season (coaches gave tom osborne a retirement gift by giving him half the title)
michigan basketball - yes (1988-89 - my freshman year in college)

I'm a yankees, Bulls and jets fan. It's been a while for the Bulls and I was younger during their first three peat so only saw about 3 of their championship wins.

Side note the 2001 World Series against the Diamondbacks is still the most devastating loss I have ever experienced.

Jets: 1968 ... it was kinda weird in a way like ... huh? what is happening here?

Jets: 2016 ... great run from wild card road game to Santa Clara

Mets: 1969 ... it was kinda weird in a way like ... huh? what is happening here again?

Mets: 1986 ... this one will be the tops for me. Went to every home game except for 2 and about 20 road games, was surrounded by friends in my own seats for the post season. It was like a big return on a big investment of time and money. No way to ever duplicate that, even with the Jets

Rangers: 1994 ... nice but had given up the season tix by then and winter sports just aren't the noodle baker baseball and football is for me

Manhattan College: yeah right, can't even beat Hampton College

Italy Calcio: 2006. Became a fan while going to the '94 World Cup. Exciting sport when you have someone to root for.

What it really comes down to is the 1986 Mets and 2016 Jets will be what I remember as I go to the great Shea Stadium in the Sky

Wish I liked basketball, those '70's Knicks wins could have been fun
