Leger Douzable resigns

Why haven't we resigned him yet? I think he is a valuable piece of our DL rotation.

I read an article a while ago that said he wanted to be a starter.

Perhaps as the draft approaches, and no offers a contract as a starter he will reconsider his position

Stephen Bowens signing was to replace him...I liked Douzable also...a lot more than Bowen. Oh well, Bowen is a nice rotation player also. he was a great addition to the Redskins when he first got here (I live just outside of DC actually, just off New York Avenue)...but the last 2 years Bowen has been banged up, which is why I prefer Douzable. Hopefully they bring him back, but I doubt it, as Cy stated...likely too late.

This one I am very happy to see. Dooz is an excellent rotation player. I was very concerned when they signed a few DL who I thought were intended to replace him.

So it looks like the only position that hasn't been fortified through FA is OLB, unless you're counting Pace and Babin, is Edge/OLB. Strengthens my feeling that the #6 pick will be used to inject new blood there.

Now approaching 200 on our roster #, there should be some serious competition in Training Camp. I like this signing because this kid always gave 100% when he was on the field.
