Henderson was a decent player for the Vikes, hope he's pulled his stuff together, this will probably be his last chance if he hasn't,

The dude was Alcoholic !!!!

Apparently been sober and on the wagon for close to a year!!! I think he will be a good signing.

This was a terrific addition if he stays sober.

Now if Harris or Davis goes down, you have a plug & play LB with no real drop-off, ditto if the ILB's need a blow.

He can also play OLB in a pinch so he improves the depth at two spots.

I don't mean to be negative, but let me play Devil's advocate here, if Henderson is sober and so good, why has he been on the street for over a year ? I don't expect "Mangini type boy scouts", but we seem to be adding a few new players with a checkered past ! I've had my feel of the Santonio types of cancer on our team, and how that turned out. Hope he's a stud, but let's be cautious.

Having a few depth guys with some character issues in the past is different then one of the top guys on your entire team. Holmes was suppose to be a vet leader.

With these guys our vets will hold the locker room together and if they are any trouble then they are cut.
