All I really want to know is whether the Jets are playing the Pats in the kickoff game Thursday night, because if they are I won't be able to watch it. And I certainly don't want to watch a 3 hour show just for that. If anyone has ever watched one of these, please give me a heads up on when the Pats' opponent for that particular game should be announced. And, thanks in advance.

Its the Jets and Pats for Cowboys this year on Thanksgiving......I think it will be Jets because the league wont want to inconvenience the scumbag Patriots on Thursday night....

That would be excellent. An easy win in the opener and by week 17, Rex will have mangled the Bills so badly that he'll be boasting about being the best 2-13 team in the NFL as usual
I won't be too concerned with our schedule until after the draft when we have a better feel for our roster.
It doesn't work both ways, hobson, most of the players on the Jets have no animosity towards Rex, quite the contrary, most of them are quite fond of Rex and probably would have voted to keep him if it was their call. Rex is the one who was fired, so he's the one with an axe to grind, and his new players will be fired up to give Rex a win over his former team. Thats a dangerous game to close out the season if its a game we need to make the playoffs.
BTW why don't you take the last spot (GM8) in the board participation mock draft?
I'm glad we play @Houston and @Dallas. I live in Dallas and I haven't been back to Houston since Sanchez first game.

well we know amaro will look to have a career best day...
as i've said before, i really don't much credence into the extra bulletin board stuff. week 17 would be the 2nd game vs buffalo, so i can't see anyone still harping over this past off-season. players want to win the game, and if one team is fighting for a playoff spot, i'm sure the other team would love to knock them out (just like we did to miami the last couple of years).
don't really have to time to do the mock draft. nor do i know enough about prospects. i've basically read mostly about the players/positions the jets may be targeting, but don't know enough to cover 4 teams in each of rounds 1 and 2. thanks anyway
