not a big deal imo. it's a 1pm game and the holiday wouldn't start until sundown. plus most people don't go to temple that night, but rather the next day.

Dear Kristian....ironically an interesting name for someone so concerned about a Jewish Holiday that doesn't start for more than three hours after the game concludes meaning virtually all fans who are Jewish and live in Northern NJ, Middle NJ, all five boroughs, all of Westchester, Nassau and Western Suffolk County should be home in time to get to their homes, get changed and make it to Shul in plenty of time for services. I live in Queens and am not the least bit worried.

But I guess if your job description includes..

I'm not going out on the limb anymore with my annual 10-6 prediction, I'm going 9-7 this year until everything starts to gel near the end of the season (again), but this time it will flow into MaccBowles 2nd season with the Jets. The Jets will win the AFC East in 2 years.

This is the year you should have stuck with 10-6, we're much better on paper than we have been in quite some time, a legit playoff contender in my view, and our schedule is cake. We might even win more than 10 if Geno doesn't stink.

Quite ironic to see Semen, the crown prince of negatively about the Jets....behind the King...Benigno and the Queen...Womanish... whining about negativity at NFL Nation or any other media venue

well cimini picked us to go 8-8, and i don't think the beat reporters have been that down on the jets THIS year.

3-13 seems like an awfully pessimistic pick. we won 4 games last year, are immensely more talented, and have an easier (on paper) schedule. even if one hates geno, fitz has shown to be a capable game manager, and he will have decker and marshall to throw to. our biggest non-QB weakness (secondary) has been bolstered by an all pro CB in revis, plus cro, skrine and gilchirst. and while we lose rex's defensive prowess, we replace him with bowles, who is quite well regarded as a defensive mind in his own right.

now i can see having some skepticism that we put everything together, and i personally see us as a 7-win to 9-win team (although there could be upside if things click), but 3-13 is just crazy to me.

I think the post was a little misleading. The link below makes it sound like they checked with each Jets opponent to see who THEY thought would win, and only 3 of them chose the Jets.

You really can't argue with it -- who knows who will win in April? But it also holds no value whatsoever since it isn't an objective view of the season -- apparently the Raiders (24-14), Jaguars (17-7) and Titans (23-13) all consider us 10 point underdogs. . .
