I have to say this is very concerning I wonder if he will be dangled in the draft as a trade chip?

I think so otherwise he could have been signed already.. If Mo and his agent are looking for a JJ Watt lite size contract he may be wearing a different Jersey come Sept..
Terrible thread... Overreacting...
Mo is posturing for his contract... Jets will get him his contract.... No chance he gets JJ watt Money but he will be paid well. I think Woody learned from Revis you don't let talent like Mo leave the building and you reward the loyalty Mo has shown....
Just my opinion... But this is classic Jets fans making more of a situation then necessary..
at least we know he won't be going to the bills because they have no first to offer.

If they thought they could get Williams at 6, have him replace Mo at a MUCH cheaper price and get a premium draft pick in the process, then I could see it happening.
However, the chances of that happening are less than Revis signing a discounted extension, so I'm pretty sure Mo is gonna stay in green . . .
They don't have to get Williams they can move Coples back to DE and get the extra pick and draft a OLB..

did the jets ever say they weren't trading abe?
in any event, completely different circumstance. abe was a 4-3 DE (with an injury history) and the jets were shifting to a 3-4 defense when mangini took over. abe wasn't a fit for the scheme and most assumed the jets tagged abe with the intention to trade him.
mo is under contract, fits bowles' defense, and the jets have given zero indication they are seeking to trade him or don't see him as part of the long-term future.

I'm not understanding this Wilkerson trade talk either. It makes no sense to me. I don't believe there's any truth to it.
