The Jets are bad, the Titans are worse. For all their issues, the Jets have been competitive in 11 of their 13 games. The same can't be said of the Titans, whose problems on the offensive line should allow the Jets to pressure Jake Locker. The only way they can lose is if Geno Smith throws a pick-6 -- oh, wait. That's right, he has eight in two seasons. To use a Rex Ryan-ism, this game will be a pillow fight, two undermanned teams flailing away at each other. It would be typical Jets luck; win the game and hurt their draft position.

Yes, the Jets finally remember how to win a game, their first on the road, if only because the Titans are that bad. It's quite possible Geno Smith will look like the Pro Bowl quarterback he sees in the wildest corner of his overactive imagination.

This is my greatest fear in this game. The Titian's defense is bad enough for it to happen. First, it would knock the Jets back into nowhere land as far as getting a QB in the draft goes, and Second, people will be running victory laps talking about how Smith has turned the corner, and on his way to the Pro Bowl.

I agree, the Jets should have started Simms. But you don't just want to insert him in the game with no reps with the 1's during the week. Give him a full week to prepare to see if he has developed into any kind of a player.

If not, what did it hurt? If he stinks it insures that the Jets have a shot at one of the young QB's. If he is good, maybe he can take Smith's roster spot and compete next season. No lose situation

LOL Can't really blame him for being negative. This is one of the worst season ever. I'm actually dreading this game. It's a MUST LOSE game, and they are going to win.
