All this talk about teams trading up to # 2 is a lot of hooey

To trade up to # 2 it would cost a kings ransom, and I don't believe anyone would pay that price to move up for Mariota or Winston. I think its all a lot of hot air and come Thursday night the Titans will make their selection at 2, and when the Jets go on the clock Mariota will be sitting there for them if they want him.

Thats my bold prediction for Thursday night and I'm sticking to it.

My prediction is......Tenn wont have mAriota by end of Thursday night..the reason I say that is I think between Cleveland that reportedly wants him and have 12 AND 19 they have the ammunition to trade up..and the Eagles..who have Kelly and are NUT jobs...

Again you can throw the trade chart out the window when it comes to possible acquiring a franchise Qb.( could be a lot of teams competing for, pushing up the asking price.
If the Browns are willing to give up both first rounders for Mariotta. That is the price someone going to have to beat.

30+ teams, and many can use a QB.

I'm betting Mariota has some serious suitors right now. I expect a trade up. Tennessee's GM is pumping this pick up. Talking about how wonderful it is to be at 2, both QB's are outstanding prospects, ect. It's all his way of saying "you want Mariota? It's gonna cost a lot". I think the Browns are all in.

I don't see anyone trading up with the Titans precisely because it is too costly, even by chart standards to trade all the way up to 2. IMO the only way they are moving that pick is if SD is willing to essentially swap Rivers for Mariota.

I agree. I think the titans really are hoping someone will pay a big price for the pick but I'm calling their bluff. I don't think anyone bits and they take someone else, probably Williams.

I think someone could trade up for him later. My prediction is with the Redskins.
