folllow me here
current draft order
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 2-12 (.479 SOS) pack and saints pretty much a lock for number 1 2-14
2. Tennessee Titans: 2-12 (.491 SOS) jags can be beat and a rested colts team could put titans 4-12
3. Jacksonville Jaguars: 2-12 (.509 SOS) titans and texans they could lose 2-14
4. Oakland Raiders: 2-12 (.585 SOS) bills this is a L but they can beat a rested group of broncos 3-13
5. Washington: 3-11 (.495 SOS) eagles loss and rested cowboys 4-12
6. New York Jets: 3-11 (.550 SOS) pats a L and dolphins prob playing for a spot in playoffs another L 3-13
that would change order to
1. bucs- need qb
2. jags- don't need qb
3. jets - need qb
4. raiders- don't need qb
5. titans- need qb
6. redskins- need qb
if cowboys don't rest their players against the skins
then it will be
1. bucs- need qb
2. jags- don't need qb
3. redskins- need qb
4. jets- need qb
5. raiders- don't need qb
6. titans- need qb
we really need to hope a few teams rest their starters but both qb's are still technically in play prob more winston than mariotta.
Why are we all so convined he is a clear cut top 3 pick? Neither of these two QBs are flawless and in case you didn't know there are other players eligible to be drafted as well.
OK
Even though I can't see the Titan's team the Jets beat yesterday winning 2 more games. Same thing with the Redskins. No way the Raiders are beating Denver. But I'll play.
I think both of the QB's in this draft have a high upside. IMO Winston has a better chance to be an NFL player. Mariota is going to go early. Either by trade, very possible, or some one takes him at 1 or 2.
IMO Oregon is a much better balanced team then FSU. Georgia Tech's running game shredded FSU's defense. They are really going to struggle against Mariota, and the Ducks, which is going to put a lot of pressure on Winston. It is very possible he has a rare off game here as he did against Florida.
If that happens, coupled with his off field issues, he is likely to fall a bit, and still be there at 6. That is if the Jets lose to Miami. Got my doubts about that

Where did you think Geno,Bridgewater or Manziel was going to go in their Draft?? And tell the truth..LOL
Honestly I saw Smith play several times at WV, including the Pinstripe Bowl. Thought he sucked. Didn't like Manziel either. Just didn't think he could bring his act to the NFL. Plus he has a rep of not taking coaching well. Wasn't surprised he slid. Bridgewater i was surprised about. Thought he was a pretty good player
with our qb options we have now mariotta and winston should be picked first for the jets no matter if we are drafting 3rd, 8th, or 22nd that is how bad geno is.
So my point is just because fans think a certain player will go number 1 it doesn't mean the people that are responsible for the draft do..

lke you said, there are a lot of moving parts but who knows..a lot of moving parts, I guess not impossible though/
Last year both the Texans,Jags and Browns needed QB's picking 1st,3rd and 8th. Houston took Clowney, Jags took Bortles and Browns took a DB with their first picks..
