Did Smith really have to take 84? LOL!!!

Hey that's a storied Jets WR number. Does no one remember Sammy Weir? He caught a whole pass and for 4 yards no less. Gained more yards than even Bill Rademacher in '66

Then there's Jets great Stephen Hill who wore that number and is a hard act to follow.

Smith must feel the pressure wearing that number because of all this history. May be too much for a rookie so let's hope that they do change it
