Watch Smith this preseason and practice photos...he is a natural baller like when you used to see photos of SMoss or DJax. He had that little big man look to him. The Stephen hill comments about the kid are stupid. He doesn't walk, talk, or look anything like Hill. He's going to be a little annoying son of a bitch that annoys defenses.

Personally think Devin Smith will be a good player for us.

those are low numbers i say at least 5 td's and 490 yds

when i reviewed the fitzpatrick tapes from buffalo and houston he likes to go deep 2-3 times per game on avg.

I think the only Florida WRs that were considered high picks during Meyer were Harvin, Luis Murphy, David Nelson, chad Jackson, and Riley Cooper...I would agree Smith's upside is far superior to that group...

Are you saying that with the hindsight of knowing what those players turned out to be, or basing it on what they brought to the field coming out of college?

Smith's prospect grade would grade out higher than all of them not named Harvin. Harvin didnt have a definited role coming out of college though and was always going to be a #3 slot WR that played some running back. Smith is 100% Wr but I think Harvin's draft grade would have been higher than Smiths.

Smith grades out higher than Jackson, Cooper, Murphy, and Nelson...Jackson was highly regarded when he came out and I believe the Pats drafted and cut him in no time in rd 2... Smith has more speed and polish to his game than Jackson, IMO.
