Every teams worst nightmare.

I feel for those guys, big-time, and pray to God we can dodge this kind of bullet.

This is the worst part about football. Sucks for everyone losing a whole season.

The Jaguars are like the Arkansas of football. You can always say, well at least we're not Jags fans.

Then who would we pick up ? Beasley or white ?
If I were the GM and Mariota, Fowler, Williams, Winston and Cooper were gone, I would have the PR guy at the table in Chicagoland write in Vic Beasley

The real big question in this draft is why did the Washington dumbasses pass on Williams and reach for Scherff?

My guess....Moron Snyder forced the pick

I understand the QB's going 1 and 2. Especially two teams in desperate need of a potentially franchise changing young QB. I even understand the Fowler and Cooper picks to follow. Value and need matched both picks for the Jags and Raiders.

What I can't understand is why in the world Washington took Sherff over Leonard Williams. I think they're going to really regret that one. Williams is gonna be a beast for the Jets.

Hopefully it will be compared in the annals of draft blunders with 1981 when the Saints chose USC RB George Rogers with the first overall pick in the draft and let the Giants with the second pick take a LB from North Carolina named Taylor

I thank the Redskins and the other 4 teams ahead of them every day for passing on Williams, but I can see why the Skins chose Scherff. The kid will be a mainstay for a decade on their OL, and is much needed security for Griffin. I think they also saw the impact that Zach Martin had on Cowboys last year, so why not try and duplicate that.

I would have reached for Dupree because of his versatility over Beasley. Dupree also was better against the run although Beasley was better at pass rush but not by alot. Mauldin could be better than both eventually anyway.

Dupree went around where he should have gone, low 20s

Would have been as big a reach to take him at 6 as Bradway committed in 2004 for another Kentucky player, his worst draft blunder (worse even than a Kicker in round 2)

No way your not giving Dupree enough credit he had better stats and played with his hand in the dirt and standing up.

Their GM, who built the 9ers and Seahawks, said Williams was 3rd on their list of players when their pick came up after Scherff and another unnamed player. He also said Flower was the #1 pkayer on their big board so Williams was 4th on their board overall.

The only thing about Dupree is all his sacks were outlet of conference and against 3 teams. He did little in conference and was dominated by Collins LSU. Didn't step up when they needed him to. I love duprees upside, but think he was drafted about where he should have been...behind Fowler and Beasley. Just my opinion. And I like him as a prospect, I think he has tremendous upside and can be Clay Mattews if coached up, but he has to build upon a great first step.

when i scouted him alot of that i believe had to do with he was literally the only guy on that team to make plays and some of the game they would have him on loine of scrimmage with his hand in the dirst other times he was standing up rushing the passer or spying the rb
