I'm sorry, but Hyatt gets carried away with the love of himself sometimes, and it gets old !

Back to Milliner, here's my prediction. He will be the next CB up after Revis & Cro. and next year he will be starting opposite Revis.

McDougle will battle Buster in Training Camp for the slot position, and actually take over by mid season.

Go Jets...Cyborg

I usually don't like to predict the future, but I'm on board with you, Cy. I think Milliner is going to silence a lot of skeptics around here. This kid is talented. If he can beat the injuries, look the hell out. He's gonna replace Cro Daddy at the 2, and give the Jets a scary CB unit.

'Taint "love of hisself", just letting my fellow posters know what has happened throughout my life to make me what I am today.
There's plenty about HYATT™'s past to not love, some he is even mildly ashamed of, (burned down a Union Pacific railroad trestle in my distant youth, served 12 days before trial for pot possession, and spent 4 days in jail for a speeding ticket once), but it's all a part of who and what he is.
HYATT™ has no compunctions about sharing it all - because he has braced himself against personal embarrassment - and lets others decide for themselves who HYATT™ is.
You can't blackmail a man who has nothing left to hide & you can't accuse him of having a hidden agenda if he doesn't hide anything.

HYATT™ has "lived in interesting times" as the Chinese curse goes.

You're OK in my book!

What with "Glass" Milliner down with injury again, HYATT™ figured this would be a good time to resurrect the dead and review what people predicted would come of these 2 players this season.

And for "Enquirer" minds that want to know, HYATT™ has saved you the bother of looking up his original comment on the matter.

Status update;

2nd string slot CB/waivers

Milliner DOES have a modicum of talent, enough to warrant one more season.
There's simply no room for McDougle on this roster.

HYATT™ assumes all responsibility for disregarding his conscience and GIFTING Milliner even one MORE shot at redemption this season.
Honestly, HYATT™ didn't believe he'd make it through training camp but was attempting to make a stab at being less confrontational and negative in what promises to be an exciting season in 2015 - so he "fudged" his assessment of Milliner a wee bit.

HYATT™ knows from past experience that playing the "homer" never ends well for him, but apparently needed reminding so.

Is this current injury to Milliner Rex's fault? Because there were an awful lot of posters that I could mention that blamed Milliner's poor development on Rex.

That's comical and stupid at the same time. Dee Milliner is freaking china doll and there's nothing else to it. NO ONE, including dear Todd Bowles can get anything out of Milliner. He's injured too often for anyone to have success with him.

Dear Todd Bowles is the head coach of the team you are allegedly a fan of.

In case you forgot

You boyfriend WRECKS is a long way away from the Jets now ruining the Bills franchise

Buffalo may be closer to Maine, though. We all know Foxborough is

What a COP OUT of a response. Are you really that ignorant that you cannot admit when you are wrong? You blame EVERYTHING, most of all Dee Milliner's poor development, you were right there with all the other Rex assassins, trying to tell me , IN THIS THREAD NO LESS, that it was all Rex Ryan's fault that Dee Milliner has not developed.

What was the most heard response???

Rex brought back Milliner way too soon. Rex is an idiot. Dee Milliner is a stud.

Does that about sum it up? And yet you still just choose to IGNORE what you said.

You know, you guys may not think much of me, but I can guarantee you that whenever I am wrong I will step up, man up, whatever you want to call it and apologize.

But I guess some people are above all that? :i-dont-know-smiley-

Make sure you issue that apology when Dear Todd Bowles leads the Jets to titles and WRECKS takes the Bills into permanent residence in the Division shitter

7 surgeries in 6 years...(2 major ones in 2 and some change with the Jets)

Dee Milliner - DB - Jets
Jets CB Dee Milliner (wrist) has undergone seven career surgeries.
The No. 9 pick of the 2013 draft, Milliner entered the league out of Alabama having already undergone five operations. He's since added Achilles' and wrist procedures. Although the timeline for his wrist operation is 6-8 weeks, Milliner could end up on I.R./designated to return if no other big injuries come up for Gang Green. Milliner is a backup, and the Jets not want to waste a roster spot on him for September and early October.
