I know we don't tend to give Cimini and credit, but he HIGHLY doubts Mo is going anywhere (for the reasons mentioned here ad nasuem).

I'd still be shocked if he's not wearing green in Sept. . .

Agreed about the frontloading. It is a very little amount of money in the grand scheme, $1.5MM over three years, but it frontloads it, opening money for 2017.

I don't necessarily see Mo traded, especially with the Jets having control of him for three more years. This may give a little more flexibility for a more backloaded deal for Mo, though.

IF Mo does get traded.... I expect equal value in return. Two #1 's and a mid round pick(3rd-4th).

I personally hope they can keep Mo... hate to have another jersey of mine retired. lol

The ludicrousness of my hypothetical trade was my way of saying there is no way we should trade Mo because we will never get a fair return for what he means to this "D".

Just like Mo wants a contract based on future potential, trades should be done so accordingly.

Cap hit increase of 1.5 million,Marshall goes from 7.5,to 9 million this season.
Cimini reported this was part of the deal for the Jets to get the trade with Marshall, as there were several teams interested.

League rules prohibit teams from restructuring a players contract twice in a12 month period. Bears re dodd his deal last year so it was a technicality that it happened now.
